    hi all

I hope 1 of you clever people can help me because i'm a technophobe.

I currently use the Maxthon browser but it seems to have developed a problem and crashes the game .

A friend suggested trying other browsers, although i can download them ( i follow the simple instructions carefully ) for some reason i get "unable to connect" come up on the screen.

This happens with any browser i download,if anyone can be of help i would appreciate it.

    thank you in advance

    Mike

By your description, it's apparently NOT Maxthon responsible.

Sorry, no further help available here.

Do you see an "f" sign instead? It's there to start Flash which is disabled by default in FF.

In the settings, you may permit WGT as a permanent exception...

I have used Maxthon as my browser for over 6 months and until the last 2-3 weeks I had NEVER had a problem with any of the so called browser issues, meter was smooth as was the video, loading was fast even with everything on the highest settings. Now I have had to lower the settings and it seems like I have to reboot at least once in nearly every match, and if I get the white screen disconnect I might as well immediately reboot a second time because the meter and the video are crap after it..

I am really finding it hard to believe it is my browser and its highly unlikely that it is my system. CPU runs 3-12%, Physical Memory is 85% available, Virtual Memory is 72% available, cache auto dumps every 60 minutes. I have tried Chrome (wont go there again), Firefox, Opera, Safari and a couple others none seem to work better than Maxthon for me.

So I guess I have 2 questions  for the WGT techno geeks:

    • Is there a browser where this is not a constant problem
    • Are all the crashes as unexpected as we are told or is it to promote ball usage or just to make us watch more commercials that we dont get credit for. The 8 credit videos have not worked since just before the clash ended. More times than naught the complete offers and earn credit videos never pay off.

Liam...if you get something like this when the game crashes in Maxthon ⇨
...then you are not alone, and down-loading and using another browser may result in a similar issue, because as far as I can make out, it's a problem with the game itself.

Refreshing the browser is the way to get back into the game when it happens.

Cheers Mike, there's definitely too much manure in the WGT 'garden' at the mo', lol.  : )
