Where are the cars coming from that honk their horns every few seconds on Kiawah? This is totally unrealistic and highly annoying.

Please fix this nonsense. It has gone long enough now.

A simple solution requiring only a few minutes of work would be to replace all sound clips with car sounds with sound clips just recording silence.

I really don´t understand why your development team has not found those few minutes yet to fix this serious problem.

There are a few other things mixed in like gusts of wind and nature sounds I rather want to keep. In this sound channel is the only information we get about gusts of wind. Except for balls that do not land where we would expect them.

If this was the biggest problem we had on this game, it would be a beautiful thing. Couple of solutions for you, either turn the sound down or perhaps change courses so you can find something else to complain about. Very lame indeed.......

You might find it's your caddie - baked beans for breakfast....

That would at least be funny for a while.

Totally unrealistic car sounds are just annoying for me. And indeed one of the more serious of WGTs many problems.

BTW Being annoyed about this nonsense sometimes lead to avoidable mistakes in my game.

Yep, I heard it.  I was practicing putts on Chambers and after hitting 3ft past the cup I whacked it back down the slope, rimmed the cup and heard the "cough, cough" sound.

We never got the car honking on Kiawah, until lately.  When the background sounds were added originally I was really interested to see if the sounds fitted the environment of the courses.  I actually charted some of the more distinctive sounds, the airplane, car horns, church bell, etc.  I noted which course and hole I heard the beeps, bells, etc. for a couple of weeks.

Surprisingly, the WGT programmers did a nice job tailoring the sounds to the courses.  Even to the extent of customizing the sounds to the holes on the course.  I can tell because I never heard the car horn on STA holes far from the town.  Holes like 7, 8, 9, 10. 11 on STA never heard the cars.  I never heard the car honk on Kiawah in the original implementation.

So it appears WGT broke that customization in one of these latest releases.
