Is there any way in which players could make their avatar more bespoke by mix/matching various shirts, pants, hats, socks etc. I have played  games recently where two and on one occasion three players were identically dressed....who's up next? was the usual question. WTG could make yet more bucks by charging for the bespoke look but I think anyone who wants to look a bit more individual would probably pay the extra credits.

    Hi guys,

We would love to be able to offer customizable clothing styles and individual pieces.  It would certainly drive more avatar business in the Pro Shop and we would not be against that.  The reason we haven't yet is unfortunately a technical one.

Basically when you are looking at your avatar you're actually looking at 2 embedded video objects.  Your 1-piece avatar is essentially one video (complete with ani's) and your club is the 2nd video (also complete with ani's).  Each article of individual clothing requires its own embedded video object and its own animation set.  At this time a large amount of players would not be able to handle 6 or 7 different video objects and their animations running simultaneously on the screen.  For most it would drag playback down to a crawl because the sheer amount of things going on at one time will wreak havoc on the frame rates of all but the best video cards.  Try playing 3 or 4 flash videos on your PC at the same time and you'll see what I mean.

It's something we'd definitely like to do at some point.  As I said customization is a big thing and people love to do that kinda stuff, but right now it would create mostly undesirable results.  Bummer, I know, but one day perhaps. =)

How hard would it be to allow players to change avatars and possibly golf ball colors at the beginning of a group game just after the game has been established so everyone can see how each other are dressed?

Why could nt wgt have a mix and match selection of clothing in the pro shop for us to choose and order our avatar ,wgt could surely make it as they make the ones we have already, got to be a money spinner for them.

    Dear StrangeMagic sir,

Some questionables came up in the Yancycan Industries roundtable discussionals meeting this afternoon pertaining to your desire for an avatar incorporatintangibles feathers.

Coosbay Carol, our Directorness of Fashionables, came up with these beta Beta avatars with feathers.

Please indicate if this is what you had in your mindness and if your likin them.  As you can see in the last rendering, these items are combinable.

    Thank You muchly.

    Andyson....

Hat man, hat! I wanted a feather for my dang hat man!   Sheesh dawg, what ya tryin to do?

I am a member of The Common Man Country Club and we are all real macho, and chew tobacco, smoke, drink, spit and cuss and such and whatnot!

(the 3rd ensemble does look quite nice though. light and billowy, dreamlike almost) ...Cough, cough....forget I said that!

Now we all  know YancyCan does go missing on a regular basis and does have this thing about Aliens and paranormals and such. As a matter of fact we have a search party out scouting right now and may have a lead.......

There was a newspaper story about an older gentleman found in an Oregon honky tonk bar underneath a pool table with his clothes in disarray.   He was said to have been blathering and repeating "But Nobulax, next time you got to hold me and say you love me",

Surely, this wasn't our leader?           Nah....no way.   Disregard
