    Baldace:

Go back to the 1969 Ryder Cup, Nicklaus v Jacklin, this shows all you need to know about sportsmanship and understanding the "bigger picture".

Jack conceding that putt led to the 1st ever tied Ryder Cup, America retained it as holders.

After that they became lifelong friends and later went on to design 'The Concessional' golf course, in Florida, together.

He only conceded the putt because the USA had already won the match.

Let some one putt or concede the putt are both options in the game, so players should respect whatever decision is made

The concede putt tied the match, USA retained the cup as holders. They didn't win the match.

That's what I meant. The result of their match was meaningless as USA had retained the Cup. And that's the only reason why he conceded the putt.

all the blame should be on the rookie american girl, she made the mistake, no wonder she was crying, she missed up big time, they should have just walked to the next tee instead of causing a situation.

no blame should be put on Pettersen, she didnt need to apologize but im sure she issued the statement as she plays most of her golf in the US and lives there too.

The USA played amazing on singles Sunday

Sure, Lee made a mistake, but if the European team really wanted her to putt out they should have stood still and waited. Hull and the two caddies started walking immediately after the miss. Obviously Hull was conceding the putt.

Hull told the media she wanted to see the putt and she was going over to pettersen to confer with her, i dont think Hull is the kind of person that would lie, she seems very down to earth.

i also read that Lee was picking balls up early throughout the tournament.

Why does it really matter now anyways. The Americans won it,so that point is really mute at this point anyways. Go U.S.A.
