Legend + Balls

  With all the high [performance balls now on the market in WGT why are some of the mid and lower end balls still Legend + ?  They are in the Callaway and WGT product lines. While I can understand the argument that once upon a time these items were listed as such so that only players who reached a certain tier would have access to items needed to perform on the faster greens and back tees, the other balls that are now available outperform them and are available to anyone that reaches the required xp level. The real problem that I have is that these balls are not giftable even if the potential sender is a Legend. WGT has promoted gifting at the end of a multiplayer game but since these items can not be gifted you could be losing valuable revenue.

   

  I there any chance that these will a change in the gifting of these in the future?

  My best guess is that these have been around already when equipment was tiered - until mid 2010. WGT always say that equipment characteristics do not change, so be careful what you wish for:

  Instead of a modification, it might be more probable that they are withdrawn, only to be replaced by more expensive but not better stuff.

  I used the Callaway legend ball for a long time. I found it frustrating that I couldn't be gifted this ball ,  I had been gifted many Nike balls and finally started to use them. I found out that I really like the 20XI-X l-48 400 credit per sleeve ball . Sometimes you just " Can't fight City Hall".

  Yep,  in true WGT fashion, already been done. The level 43/ legend Callys were removed, and replaced by the level 45's @ $.50 more a sleeve.

  What's weird is that they took away the Legend+ from the L43 Callaways and are now giftable, but the L45 Callaways are still Legend+  vapor trail versions as well.

  Well sometimes you can,  it just takes persistence.   :-)

   

  

  By popular request, the player-favorite Callaway HEX Chrome virtual golf balls are now available in yellow, with matching neon yellow vapor trails.

   

   

  I'm just struggling with said persistence when it comes to the yellow Nike.  LOL
