I'm sorry Salamii, but you can't join this tournament because we're already playing the semifinals.

However, we are planning to play similar tournaments next after the Christmas holidays, so make sure you check the forum every now and then to see when we're starting.

By the way, I meant to answer marioh's suggestions yesterday and then I forgot, so here goes:

I think the main reason some matches weren't played wasn't timetable difficulties, but language difficulties. I'm pretty sure at least two of the spaniards don't talk english and that is a major problem. For future tournaments, when we sign up for the tournament we should say if we speak engilsh or not. If not, we will try to assign that player a translator that speaks his langauge (in the case of the spaniards it would have been me). Then, the players that have to play the non-english-speaking player, should contact the translator and not the player. Obviously, the translator must talk first to the player he is translating for and ask him what times of the day are good for him/her, so he can talk to other players.

This may seem more complicated than Marioh's proposal of dividing the tournament into two, but i think if we did that we would slightly spoil the spirit of the tournmanet, which is to get players from all around the world to play each other.

As for posting our scorecards, I think it's a good idea, and I would apreciate it if somebody told me how to do it, because I tried copying and pasting, but it didn't work.

    Thanks

When the tournament starts to get organised, somebdoy will post a link on this forum, which will lead you to a page asking you your tier, your average, and your time zone. You fill in that information and that's it.

Ive tried to contact jose99 for the 5-8 place match, posted on his wall 20 Dec but havent got response yet.  He took my friend invite, maybe there are language difficulties.

I am online til about 02:00CET monday (clock now: 20:35CET sunday) so if you Seveking please could say some word on his wall it would be nice.

Know it is a little late, but thanks anyway.

     Hey Marioh!

I don't play on weekends and I couldn't post my reply on your wall. I can play from home up to 23h GMT but without a mouse so my play will be terrible!:)
