  Arghhh! that i didnt putt that easy one on 7th:-) anyway it was very fun. The best player won.

  I left a message for Alvaro01 on his profile.   He did add me as a friend, so he is around.   I'm hopeful that I can get our round in, but I know it's kind of late over on that side of the pond by the time I get home from work (around 6PM EST).

   

  I'd play at work, but my 2nd computer is old and a POS and it'd be impossible to play a game on it.   My primary PC is strictly for work, and on the work network which blocks the ability to play.

  I have been trying to contact JOSE99, but he hasn't accepted my friend request or anything. I have a big exam tomorrow, so hopefully he contacts me soon.

  Hi everyone, end of round 2. 

  Well done to everyone thus far as we reach the semifinal stage. A couple of matches didn't get played - as Costain and marioh posted that they were trying to get the match played, they go to the next round. 

  The 5th-8th place bracket is up and running for 1/4 final losers.

  Good luck in round 3! I'll be setting up a feedback form over the weekend to see what could go better and what worked well.

  Sorry we couldn't get together to get the game in Alvaro01.  :(

   

  I have some thoughts for the next match play tournament:

  1) Regional pairings/Ryder Cup style of play - Have a bracket for North/Central and South American players, and a separate bracket for European players.   Top 4 from each bracket play (so the Top 4 winners from the Americas bracket would play the top 4 European winners).   Of course, this would require that we get enough players from the other side of the pond to play.  :)

  2)Extended time frames for each round - Each round should have 1 weekend.   That way, we can have a better chance of getting games in before the deadline.

  3)Scorecard posting for each pairing.

   

  Abak, I posted on your wall.   Hopefully you'll be around this weekend since I won't be available during the hours you posted on Monday and Tuesday due to work.  One of my co-workers is on vacation, so I just won't have the time to play during work.

  Geebo and I took care of business today.  It was a hard fought match and Geebo gave me absolutely all I could handle.  He was putting lights out and it was tough to keep up.  In the end we needed all 9 holes to decide the match, but I was barely able to squeeze past him, 1up.
