I use level 81 nike golf balls most of the time, and this meter on those nikes, bounces around so much I cant even hit the ding. And putts are just about the same if not even worse. Causing me to use up balls faster and losing strokes. This game is getting worse to play.

I really have minimal issues with the meter, not sure how good your computer is but here is what I do.

    Use Google Chrome.

Close the browser after each round. (Wgt memory leaks lol)

Download CCleaner and use it regularly.

Try opening a game client and turning the "Flash quality" down to medium or low in the game settings.(I use medium)

If your computer is somewhat old/slow you can download Gamebooster.

If your computer is loaded with lots of files/programs try deleting some you don't need/use.

    Also I have an average computer, 8GB RAM/1TB HDD/i3-4130/Windows 8.

From their perspective - All good. That's the goal and business model, as crass as it is, they're in this to make as much money as possible before it crashes out.

If you want to see how poorly this game is coded, register with Adobe, load up Scout. Run dual monitors and open the game while running scout - Play. Watch the output in the program window.

It's not your machine, it's the game.

I run Windows-10 (was 7), and use Maxthon Cloud..Very rarely have any issues whatsoever with the meter...most always very smooth. My computer is clean of other programs and stuff when I'm playing. And, I run Advanced System Care 8 and Malware Bytes to keep it clean.

If it's the game, why does my system and meter run good 99% of the time? Are they treating me special? I have no issues with the meter running Maxthon Cloud under Windows-10, and didn't with Windows-7 either.

    Cheers,

    Bob

try using maxthon browser, set to fullscreen, then also set wgt window to fullscreen(image will be a bit fuzzy) but meter a lot smoother  PS: dont use maxthon for anything other than WGT

Not sure why this is seldom (if ever) mentioned when being told to "clear your cookies and cache". Browser cookies aren't going to affect your meter or game play. FLASH cookies and FLASH cache will affect your meter, loading, and graphics. Not to mention, the most important of all..your PRIVACY!! Here is how to clean and remove Flash cache and cookies. CCleaner and ASC  do NOT remove these cookies. The few programs that state they do, don't. The "super cookies" and "zombie cookies" have to be manually removed. It's the safest and surestway to know you've removed them. It takes about 10 seconds once you know what you're doing.

decided to un-install every browser except IE.I also un-installed all flash aspects and did a little clean after and restarted computer.. Downloaded my browser of choice and the flash player which concerns that browser                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           ^^These are some great tips from some great players .^^                                                       these tips def help my meter, also refreshing or logging out then back in  the WGT game client after 9 holes  & do the hokey pokey , turn yourself around &  have a necklace made of garlic on  while jumping through more hoops  :)  ..
