We've never had to give this trophy to another CC, we've played and won 17 inter-cc matches. We know this one is gonna be real tough, a lot of heavy hitters on both sides. Should be a great match. Best of luck to both teams players, play well and enjoy the friendly competition.

That will go nicely with all the other counterfeit shite I have in Thailand.

From clothes to dogs to Duracell batteries.

Think I'll have a nice glass of counterfeit Chilean Merlot.

We all love predictions don't we.

When i was a young boy in Wales, our rugby was supreme, we had Barry John ( they sing songs about him ) , Jonathon Davies ( greatest full back ever ) and Merv the Swerve at No 8.

Anyway selection for the national team was played out over a match between two teams of 20 players, one called the Probables, and the other the Possibles, great entertainment, and the selectors made their choices after this match.

    1. So I am going out on a limb to predict the outcome of the matches as below :-

    • First off me against Pittfan78, a regular monthly matchplay winner in his CC, and a friend of Young46, which scares me, as that guy is so clinical.

    a win for Grande Oaks

    • fredsf is so good as is Jay, tight one, but i give it to fred

    a win for Cosa Nostra

    • tmcal good player, but Bags is a heavyweight when sober

    win for Cosa Nostra

    • YJ's killer instinct will see him through

    win for Cosa Nostra

    • siggi's infrequent play might hinder him but I still think he may be too strong for Harold

    Win for Grande Oaks

    • My best friend 2i is taking on cate, I hope he shows no mercy.

    a win for Cosa Nostra

    ......................more tomorrow

    .....................cont'd

    • this match will be all about putting - too close to call
    • DRIESA07 vs skccvb - as I don't know either guy - no call
    • golf12345678 vs stashb - ditto
    • rfpoul vs BigKnight - big clash this one, could go either way
    • jresh and Wesdogg, Wes is hot right now

    Win for Cosa Nostra

    • Stephen vs Trevor, if Steve plays his usual he should get the better of Trevor who is having meter problems

    Win for Grande Oaks

    • ashanem and BC, hopefully BC does the business, but no walkover

    Win for Cosa Nostra

    • Theziggy and lawstuk, our new boy is playing well, don't know ziggy - too close to call
    • warbo and Legaci- both excellent players, but having seen Ian close up, he is scary good. Can't bet against him

    Win for Cosa Nostra

So that's it, all a bit of a wind-up, I hope it doesn't backfire on me.

And finally if punk and Hazen get it on, it will go to extras, a shootout in the sunset - probably

    a win for Grande Oaks

    LOL

Morning all.  Best of luck to all those involved.  I too would have liked to have played in this match.  Miscommunication on our part.  One question/note:  Whose Legad?  I'm assuming it's Ian aka Legaci?

We have one of those, too-Hpurey. Perhaps another match could be added? If even teams is an issue, the tiebreaker could be the cumulative score.
