Slow performance

  This post is not so much about bugs, but then again, the amout of increased advertising would and should be considered a bug on this wonderful game I've been playing for over two years.   Either the increase in ads placement has slowed play down or the web site requires upgrades to it's server.  This is not a mater of my pc been slow or contaminated with malware/spyware etc.   It's a mater WGT not understanding why they attracted a clientele in the first place.  Good graphics, playability, and  the speed of the game were all good.  Now, things have changed,  Shakey perforance on the site produces errant shots hence, we cannot gage the meter correctly.  I understand the site needs to make money, but not at the expense of the quality of play.  So the end result is less time spent by your disatisfied clientlele on the site = less ad money  for you.

  Nobb, it seems to be a mix bag of things causing errant shots. No one knows the exact cause of equipment deviations, but everyone offers a diagnosis just the same.

  You have to keep in mind, WGT can't have a browser game for the whole world to play and take advantage of it. There has to be an element of difficulty to the game, or everyone would win a great prize every week so to speak.

  This difficulty can and/or does come in many ways. Perhaps what you explaind is the way the game is setup. Only WGT knows this, and are hell-bent on keeping it that way IMO.

  Seems as though performance HAS slowed down the game.  But when one pays money to play in a tournament and the meter skips causing one to miss a 2 foot putt, that isn't right.  I don't know how to fix it but it should be addressed by the tech guys.  Also, there are bugs in the alternate shot game.  SLOW loading and bad meter skipping.  I love the game but I have done what others have suggested and purchased clubs, etc. but I won't continue if their hitches cost me money instead of making me money.

  The game has gone slower in recent weeks, but i notice it o.k when i play in morning, but when i try in evening (when u.s.a) start playing, then it is very much slower!

  But remember, this is a golf simulator, not a video game so the skips, deviation are part and parcell of the game, every round you can expect a few dud swings, just like real golf, the pro's will hit a few astray in a real round, its up to you how you cope, (and this is from a guy who was -9 in ready go at st ands #16th the other day, and a invisable wind caused me to quadrouple bogey the hole, and a meter skip caused me to double bogey next hole)

  But i'm used to it by now and i just laugh rather than get annoyed 'cause that is the beuty of the game, you don't know how the round will turn out, and that's why we carry on playing!

  Slow performance is good.

  You really don't get it.  If you don't have adequate horsepower to support your web app. It doesn't work. Bottom line.  It may be time for them WGT`` to invest in better and more powerful servers.
