Pin placements

  Played wgt for 3 yrs. now enjoy playing the game , even thought my swing meter is always starting and stopping. Why does wgt never chg some of the pin placements  Its getting old playing the same greens all the time.

  Pin placements are based off the original photos taken at the course.  To add additional ones, we would need to re-shoot some of the courses.  That is not in the plans right now.

  Mr. WGTdbloshoe, We have many courses with 2 pin placements available for many of the various holes. I play Oakmont when I can and yet i get the same pins 100% of the time. A big example is # 15 at Oakmont, I can't even remember seeing the back pin location for years.

  Many Of the other courses have the same problem. You should radomize the pin locations with each different login & play, then it wouldn't be as "Getting Old" as the op mentioned..

  What about the second pin placements on RSG and Olympic which you have but won't release. Are we ever going to see them in the game?

  Right now focus on getting pebble released then what to do for VUSO next year.  So nothing I have heard about additional pins coming for RSG or Olympic.

  shouldn't the VUSO be easy next year? Simply play Oakmont with the 3rd pin set in qualifying. Then play champ 15 greens with VARYING pins in the tournament itself

  I'd be happy just seeing all the pins for aiming purposes, whether they're the same old pins or new ones. A course like Merion is hard enough with proper alignment on setting up your shots, esp. since as a TL my default winds are hardly ever user friendly.

  I'm not sure but this lack of flag thing seemed to start on that foolish Clash when new flags were awarded with the tee markers for CC comps. One would think since there's an obvious starting point to restore to that it shouldn't be that hard of a fix that even an apprentice programmer could get the flags back in the holes.
