That's the last piece of info I've gotten.

After having club ownership transferred to me last week, and after about an hour, I finally has gotten the "owners tools". But then I noticed that I had no control in the CC Forum. I cannot "delete" unwanted posts, I cannot "edit", which means the "options" icon is useless. I cannot "sticky and unsticky" posts. Posts that have been "stickied" are now "stuck". Many have become unnecessary but are stuck at the top. Important info cannot be moved to the top of the page. Important club info is now getting lost in the myriad of member postings. After contacting wgticon, the "irrepressible Icon" told me to send a message to wgt, giving me the address, that they said they wanted notification so they could see if it might be a bug.

Ridiculous. I had already sent 3 messages to the same address stating the exact problem. But I followed Icons instructions to the letter. And the response I got was identical to the previous 3. "Your request has been closed, and merged with request #XXXXXX".

I am not asking for company secrets, all I want to know is the the heck is going on. A guess, an educated guess, a guess using a crystal ball or an oijy board, something that might give me some kind of hope that this vital tool an owner needs is being handled. All I get is "closed and merged".

I have been polite, businesslike, have not yelled, screamed, cursed, threatened......all I ask is for the courtesy of an answer. Not a generic computer generated canned response. Something that tells me my problem is being worked on, perhaps a time frame for a fix, an alternate plan to solve the problem. Something.

Pretty soon I'm gonna get a "how was the service you received" BS questionnaire from member service. When I get it, I'll return it stating that the service I got has been "closed and merged" with all the others. and apparently wgt only does things when it is ONLY in their best interest to do so. No profit here.

Maybe someone, with some kind of wgt authority will read this and do the right thing. I do not think that I am asking too much. But sadly, I won't hold my breath.

Normal 0 21 false false false

To my full conviction, there is a bug (or some) in connection with CC ownership.

Some owners lose their ownership status and the owner tools, sometimes ownership transfers do not work, but your problem seems related to a subject that we had when I took over ownership of my CC.

Right after that event, the former owner had problems with the CC forum. We resolved it when he left the CC and rejoined.

This may be a complicated procedure for you as an owner, but you might come to transfer ownership, leave and reenter the CC and take ownership again - if the procedure runs through fault-free.
