    FATTY501:

Sue's latest status reads for The Georgian

XP Contributors and Clash Players needed, from any Tier or Level. Come join our Team. Even if You can only use free Club Passes, Your help would be greatly appreciated here.

In other words "we only care about the clash" as for your help would be greatly appreciated, well it could be reworded to say, we don't care if your feeling down or concerned about your health if you aint earning we aint keeping you

No offense to anyone but I do hope the CC in question contacts you.  I only have this thread to go by, and v sorry to hear about your health.   IMHO there should be contact as no honourable CC wants this unresolved.  Mistakes and misunderstandings aside any decent CC is about being upfront as to what is on offer, and supportive after joining (sensible time frames both sides in an open way)...Also no offense to the CC, and hopefully all you guys can clear the air.

Vandasey - All you say about FATTY501 sounds reasonable enough, although I can't see why you didn't/don't simply ask in the" forum where you speak openly" (the name seems memorable enough, as do the suggested circumstances).

I really didn't know that many people got booted from cc's, I don't think any have from mine since I've been a member though some have left.  To have a need for a thread devoted to "removed members" certainly surprises me.

To the rest and the clash:  All you say on cc's and doing in the game what suits you best is fair enough.

    vandasey:
With regard to the Clashes and our 'unwillingness' to not spend on Clashes, this is not an unwillingness. IF every club in WGT agreed to this then great, lets see if we can make this happen. An unwillingness would suggest it was put to us and we rejected it... I don't recall this happening, do you?

This is utter nonsense, of course it's not possible to "get every club in wgt to agree" and you know it, great get out.  Your club spent the most on passes and probably a significant percentage of the total  (I had a quick look for the result but can't see it) , if you stopped wgt would notice and listen.

    vandasey:
All that has been suggested is that we give up and stop winning to let someone else win... do you think Barcelona or Real Madrid would do that if you asked them? Do you think Tiger Woods in his prime was told to stop winning to give others a go? No, and before you complain about us spending on passes, until the rules change or ALL clubs agree to your suggestion of not buying passes then I'm afraid the fact remains that we will keep winning and we will keep collecting the 'golden calf' as a result.

All (cc's) in caps this time, it really is just another way of saying no.

I suppose Barcelona and Real Madrid could be said to buy victory (Tiger shopped elsewhere I believe) in they buy the best players.  However it still comes down to 11 v 11, skill at the game, luck, tactics, and two teams on the field for the same amount of time ( I'll ignore the linesman's allegations).  In the clash you have one of these, and it's a very well known but unbeatable tactic.

I really don't care if you keep winning the Clash and you are right in that you win becouse you are the best team with the rules as they are, and certainly if you want to keep winning then keep buying these passes.

I don't even think you and I mean the same thing by change; I reckon you still want a pass buying fest just organised differently, (and why not, you know you can outspend the other big membership clubs too},  I think it would be a better competition if skill was more of a factor.

    .

After 7 pages of this going on and on I think this  ^^^^  is all anyone really wants anyway.  The concept of the clash sounded gr8 from the get-go but it got bastardized into a pass buying, boost playing, rush to get as many rounds in as possible.

Too each their own, but it kind of reminds me of that speed golf thing the do on the Golf Channel, where a two man /woman team runs from shot to shot as quickly as they can.

I'm afraid that only the idea was great: "Play CC vs. CC" was a public demand which they picked up and put through the hoops until it fitted their purpose perfectly: maximum revenue caused by a community hype while nothing is given away.
The Golden Calf is the crown of the CC passes profit system.

"CC vs. CC" is irrelevant. In the split second of finalisation, the individual results are wiped out, only the points remain.

And, while the winner busily collected 8,000 points per Clash (assuming 10 clashes played of 12  max.), the second had only 4,800 - that means that those 600 bonus points from "CC vs. CC" don't matter at all.

For a realistic comparison, we - 100th place - averaged 1,100 points in approx.
    8 games.

After being dumped with no warning, no explanation I joined this wonderful club.  Maybe you need to check your own clubs pages and not mine, as so disgusted was I that I removed everything from The Georgian off my page.  I might also say shortly after leaving another member contacted me privately about what had happened as they had done the same to him and then made fun of him within the clubs forums, he asked the question and I confirmed for him

Fatty501 - I think you've misunderstood me, I made no claim that you weren't a member, merely that I didn't know you or re-call seeing you therefore couldn't and wouldn't comment on your departure. I checked your page to try and understand and hopefully shed some light on it, clearly I couldn't due to you removing all record of the Georgian as you stated above. If it happened the way you say then I'm sorry, but as a just a member of the club and not the owner nor director I can't say any more than that. A lot of members come and go within this club, as with many other clubs.

I appreciate many don't like the Georgian for whatever reason they have and I accept that there is a lid for every pot.

I'm not here to start picking in to the every minutia of our club, I merely came on to this thread to try and explain the ethos of the club and try and get others to understand our way of thinking when it comes to the Clash and the Weekly XP Race, but clearly many are unwilling to listen and would much rather just criticise, some unwilling to accept and some who understand but merely disagree with it.

I'm hoping this ^^^^^^  isn't an indication that you're calling my close personal friend Fatty501/Sue a liar.  She has no reason or agenda to lie, so just admit your CC is about people towing the xp/Clash company line and move on with it,  but please don't call such a wonderful sweet lady a liar.

    TY in advance

Thank you Alosso for pointing that out...

No, the general yammering of computer gibberish thanks to me copying and pasting my comment from a word doc for spell check, which is about the only assessment any normal person would make is not me taking a dig at Fatty, Jesus Christ CDEFGHI calm down. Read my bloody post in full, you can clearly see I've made no such statement or insinuation. I also think it's a bit rich for someone from The Peoples Club, a club which we battled for a long time on the Weekly XP race, and someone who regularly buys CC passes themselves to start throwing stones.

I was calm Dan or whatever your name is, and taking our Saviors name in vain in an attempt to calm someone down (if they were upset in the first place) isn't a good place to start.  I guess looking at others profiles along with blasphemy  is one of your  regular pastimes
