Vandasey - All you say about FATTY501 sounds reasonable enough, although I can't see why you didn't/don't simply ask in the" forum where you speak openly" (the name seems memorable enough, as do the suggested circumstances).
I really didn't know that many people got booted from cc's, I don't think any have from mine since I've been a member though some have left. To have a need for a thread devoted to "removed members" certainly surprises me.
To the rest and the clash: All you say on cc's and doing in the game what suits you best is fair enough.
vandasey: With regard to the Clashes and our 'unwillingness' to not spend on Clashes, this is not an unwillingness. IF every club in WGT agreed to this then great, lets see if we can make this happen. An unwillingness would suggest it was put to us and we rejected it... I don't recall this happening, do you?
This is utter nonsense, of course it's not possible to "get every club in wgt to agree" and you know it, great get out. Your club spent the most on passes and probably a significant percentage of the total (I had a quick look for the result but can't see it) , if you stopped wgt would notice and listen.
vandasey: All that has been suggested is that we give up and stop winning to let someone else win... do you think Barcelona or Real Madrid would do that if you asked them? Do you think Tiger Woods in his prime was told to stop winning to give others a go? No, and before you complain about us spending on passes, until the rules change or ALL clubs agree to your suggestion of not buying passes then I'm afraid the fact remains that we will keep winning and we will keep collecting the 'golden calf' as a result.
All (cc's) in caps this time, it really is just another way of saying no.
I suppose Barcelona and Real Madrid could be said to buy victory (Tiger shopped elsewhere I believe) in they buy the best players. However it still comes down to 11 v 11, skill at the game, luck, tactics, and two teams on the field for the same amount of time ( I'll ignore the linesman's allegations). In the clash you have one of these, and it's a very well known but unbeatable tactic.
I really don't care if you keep winning the Clash and you are right in that you win becouse you are the best team with the rules as they are, and certainly if you want to keep winning then keep buying these passes.
I don't even think you and I mean the same thing by change; I reckon you still want a pass buying fest just organised differently, (and why not, you know you can outspend the other big membership clubs too}, I think it would be a better competition if skill was more of a factor.
