One of my members is trying to create a tournament and to add 1000 credits to the purse.  He is unable because there isnt a box to put purse amount in.  I have him set at veteran and have all the boxes checked.  here is a screen shot he sent to me

Members name is dbltruble and this is a copy and paste of what he sent me

Here is what i see. Where do i add my 1000 credits to purse?

It should be below the "entry fee" line. No idea though.

There has been a similar report shortly - was it you or so. else?

Your CC is level 7, so I can't imagine a restriction for this there.

If neither you or your veteran can see that purse line then it's probably something up with your CC in the db. I tried duplicating your tourney setup in my CC and I still showed the box.

I would email WGT and let them know.  They should be able to fix it pretty quickly.

Yea that was me in the community help thread

I messaged all members about it to have them all check it out to see if any other members experienced it  ..even a recruit ranked member messaged me back saying it was on thier's when trying to create a tounament  (actually one of the directors with a temporary rank reduction  :)  )

I got to thinking too if this could be somewhat with the gambling rule  that some states that consider credit winnings as gambling and put a nix on it<<<grasping at straws there though

"Gambling laws" is a good thought actually, expecially in your country where some states are exceptional, but then the same member should be excluded from participation in such events (if programming is consistent and logical).

I see what ya mean.  I would also think it wouldn't prevent one from creating one...just participating in one  , but who knows

The creator will be involved by spending credits - legal implications lurking...

    Hi

I believe it's also due to laws. Best way to check is to find out hi state and then see if it's against the state law
