Very Interesting Observation

  Hi All

  Now that I've got your attention, between the hours of 6pm and 11pm (Aus DST) I had 5 hours of..... No Meter Spikes.... WOW, it was just fantastic. All the games I played was just great... 11pm hit and all of a sudden  the meter went into meltdown, skipping, stop-start and even when I moved the mouse nothing happened for a couple of secs....lol.

  Now I've read the forums telling me to do this and do that, load this and load that... I've got it all. My Puter is pretty powerful and my Internet conn. is super fast. I've had the same amout of friends logged on the whole time in that 5 hour window..... So Why Is This So? (meter problems)

  I Think That WGT needs new Servers to handle the workload!

  One thing I can think of is your browser cache filled up in the first 5 hours and then Flash begins working on managing the cache, looking for expired files or the oldest file it used.  My understanding is it can do this at any time whether there is a new file to save or not.  So Flash could be managing the cache during the swing in the background.

  I find I need to clear my FF cache every 3 or 4 hours.

  mmm...that could be true to Andyson. Could be a number of things, like the amount of friends that a logged on. I did load a new version of Flash not long ago too.

  I remember when Facebook had a major change last year, most of the Apps had tweak a few things so they could still work, maybe WGT has got to do something like that...dunno

  I'm willing to bet a background program started up stealing a bit of CPU. I have noticed it doesn't take much for the meter to skip.

  Not real happy about the Dougizaer thing, its a bit raw that a WGT allows a cookie which affects play....
