Having been in the online business and commerce game for around 10 years now I'm wise enough to understand that regardless of how many thousands of members are on WGT....that doesn't mean to say that WGT are raking in the cash...even with the advertising etc.
They'll have quite a huge outlay with regards to running costs. High end servers, premium bandwith and tech support is not cheap...then all the great design work using most likely highly talented but very expensive web designers....then there is most likely a team of staff employed to run things too unless anyone thinks this is a one man band.
WGT will stand more of a chance improving and getting better as a game if folks get behind WGT instead of fighting against them.
I hope no one involved in running WGT is reading this thread because quite frankly I'm embarrassed that people here think the 10,000 credits is a poor offering. The game is free to play....it don't get any better than that I'm thinking.
I commend WGT for their great gesture.
Personally speaking, I'd much rather have seen them get that stuttering feckjob of a meter fixed......but alas.
