Any advice on dealing with faster meter speeds?  I know eventually I'm going to have to upgrade my clubs to ones with a faster meter speed.  Are there tricks, like using a certain type of mouse, or can I click with a keyboard key?  There seems to be some latency in the trackpad buttons.

No there are no tricks. There are only 2 things that will help. One is buy a game improvement ball that slows the meter. IE GI balls There are many to choose from. 2 practice until you can time the meter better. There are a few mice that can be programmed to react quicker to your clicks but still you have to properly time the meter for them to do you any good. And most of the gaming mice that offer that option are quite expensive. The cheapest gaming mouse that i have seen is something like $50. Also some wireless mice don't react as quickly as a wired mouse does, especially if the batteries are getting weak. If you use a wireless mouse make sure you keep a fresh battery or batteries charging so you can change them quickly if you notice your mouse clicks lagging. There is a latency program that is supposed to help with the mouse clicks. Leatrix latency fix. I use it but am not sure if it really helps or not.

Edit-- Priestess nijaed me while I was typing my long drawn out answer.

Practice with starter balls, then the paid-for balls will seem a lot slower. Honest.
