  Well I can't speak for the other CCs but I'm immensely proud that my members gave this clash as big a swerve as they did the previous similar events.  Even if we had 250 members and therefore a fair chance my advice would still be the same and I'd expect the same lack of interest.  It's a matter of principle, not just for our CC but for most of the community.  We hope others follow a similar suit and its obvious a lot do and hold this format in the same disregard.  WGT might not care but the only way I see them changing things is if they think they will make more money by doing just that, changing things.

  How any CC can encourage their members to waste money on additional passes is beyond me, no matter the massive in house jackpot on offer.

  I dunno why so many people are getting so worked up over a completely meaningless and pointless "competition'

  Watching paint dry is more interesting.

  Here at the Georgian for those of you who do not know us or how we operate as a club, we have a great club owner (SUE) that has gathered a great group of players all with one common goal. We all enjoy playing this game and all play with pride and teamwork  and help each other out to get better. Most of the passes used during a clash are the free ones or ones that have been earned through club tourneys, watching videos, doing surveys, etc. Yes there are some higher tiered players that spend some money and they chose to do this, either to try to earn the "golden calf " as alot of people call it, or to win the inter club competition we have. Most of the higher tiered players donate credits towards our own competition and if won during tourneys, turn around and donate the winnings back to help out the lower tiered players in the club. We all play though for the honor and pride of knowing we have helped keep our club number one, in weekly experience, clashes, and as we believe a club as a whole. We play easy tourneys to help our averages and we play hard ones to improve our games. I am sure we would welcome any competition that comes our way. While we do agree the clash setup is flawed, we will continue to win them and keep being number one!   LOL! You remind me the URSS five-year plans..... Perfect, in words! In four years of surveys, videos, ect..., I never won one single pass. How do you?

  What a ridiculously hilarious statement, have you tried stand up?

  Your club is certainly top of the 'point and laugh at' list. It has ZERO credibility within the WGT community.
