That's impossible Nav. Note the meter speed indicators on the items below. The meter speed of the Spider putter is slower then the beginner, and starter putters. You can always purchase GI series golf balls to slow down the clubs meter speed as well. You'll eventually get the hang of the Spiders meter speed. Keep practicing.

    Good luck.

Not to rain on your parade, but the spider is basically a glorified starter putter, the precision is terrible.

Absolutely the worst putter you can buy. I bought it, played a couple of rounds and sold it back to WGT.

I agree with Bollie and Yappy. But I was stupid enough to use the Spider from the time I bought it until i made master and bought the Daytona The only thing going for it besides the slower meter is the better scale. But that is negated by the horrible precision. Less precise woods and irons can be overcome but a putter with poor precision will kill you.And I know that in real life I wouldn't want to use it. I looked at it at a local pro shop and weird head shape would be way to distracting for me.

As for the weird meter speed that the OP was describing it may be that he needs to clear his flash cache as the game may not be recognizing the Spider but trying to revert to the Starter or beginner putter specs.

I wholeheartedly concur. If WGT had allowed my review, then you could have learnt all about the meter speeding up as it closes on the ding.Accuracy is suspect at best,it has the wierdest ft scale, and is uber fast.I suppose that does mean you can learn how bad it is sooner...

However impossible that is Rich,it is nonetheless true,as experienced by me at least.I persevered for some time before finally giving up.I can't wait until I get a ghost putter. Then i can give up the err,ghost...

To the OP. Stick with the beginners until you reach Legend double legend triple A star level, then and only then do you need to think about a better putter.Because there isnt one.

BTW.Anybody know what all those moving dots are on the greens?really annoying if you ask me.Puts me right off.

Lizzie... those moving white dots are visual representations of worms moving underground, in search of their own private bottle of tequila.
