     ^^^^^^^ serious owner

what the others have already stated is correct....an owner is going to select members to be Directors who are as much interested in the well being of the club as the owner is...in older clubs this usually means long time members

Sir Willie ,   i joined up with american muscle yes,  was apart of the club for  almost a week, i made  at least 12 to 14 tourneys for the club , played in a few of them , once never received a  welcome to the club Nor a  thanks for helping out with making tourneys to help the club out  and such  from  neither the owner , nor   all  5  directors, and not even  all  225  members,  i did however recieve a friend add from the owner, still no  welcome to the club , or thanks for  jumping right in on first day and making some great tourneys for us ,    or   nothing. so with that said  lemme ask this ,    who  who offer  director services to a club like that ?  and who  would even stay in a club like that?  anyways  i see this was epic fail from the question  i asked to the way im typing in here  i dont always  cross my t's or  dot  my  i's  but i do atleast try to learn new things and ask  questions .  i see this was pretty much  epic fail., for me.  So With That Said, I Send you All Best Wishes in Your Golf Career , Thanks For The Short Lived Topic, This Cat Is Out Like A Trout In A Drought ,    ~Peace~   I Mean never to Offend Anyone.     :)

Well I`m not an owner but I am a director and it took me 2 years to become one . The players who responded to you are all worthy to not only respond but to be respected as well . When I became a director it wasnt a position that I was trying to get . There was a situation that came up and I stepped up and handled it for the good of the club . In return the owner who is also a friend awarded me with my position .

So the position which you seek you have to earn . Its given to players by club owners as an act of appreciation for helping out and being a positive influence within the club . So first you have to join a club and be a very active member . Contribute and help out in the club how best you can and maybe in a couple of years you may become a club director .

If you want this position for your ego then its not for you . Being a club director is about doing whats best for the club and being a help to all club members as best you can . If you are looking for a club then you may apply to my club American Golf Academy and SKYPE Club .

We are a small but very active club and players are asked to play and have fun . There is a weekly major that all players are required to play but other than that you are free to play as you wish . I hope this helps you out and answers your question . Play well and have fun . :-)

Oh and Cat you need to adjust the attitude if you want help and advice here in the forums .

Holy crap.  My 6 year old can write more coherently than that.

    Education before directorship every day.

Did "they " ask for your help? Do you even know how to set up a decent tourny? Having joined WGT 1 month ago my guess would be no to both, and you didn't get any "welcomes" from anyone because by day 2 you had worn out your welcome....

Congrats though, this is the funniest thread I have ever seen here...

I have read a few posts where wgt members are blatantly accused of tearing down rather than helping...but this thread is a more typical example of what happens...a question is posed, experienced players take time from their day to respond with helpful advice. Because it's not the answer the OP "wants" to hear, he or she then responds with attitude and sarcasm...in this OPs case, he even changed his OWN original post...lol

    I'm confused .....

On 29th October the OP created his own CC which is now owned by MRCCZ.

I note that both the OP and MRCCZ have the same (sort of unusual) avatar.

    I smell a rat - answers on a postcard please :)

    lol
