You misread the putt, caught the lip and missed, big deal!

Buy some of these and go dry your eyes -

    PMSL!!

Will WGT be bringing out a selection of adult Diapers; (Pee-Pal), so I never get caught short in the middle of an Alt/Shot game?

Fingers crossed... along with everything else.

    Cheers, BBD

You missed that because you hit it too hard. Paul's blow up picture is a perfect look. I don't know if you noticed it or not but when you turned Tour Pro recently, the basic default speed of the greens changed for you. You're now putting on greens that are faster than what you're used to.

That lip out is very typical of what happens when you putt too hard-the side doors of the cup shut. Had you hit that a tad slower, the side door would have been open and the putt would have fallen in.

Time to learn the new green speed.  GL.  :-)

There is the plain and simple truth.

2 reasons why you lip putts - speed and line - get it wrong and lip outs will happen. I played a round last night and the greens were set at Tournament and I had two successive lip outs...why? I had not realised the speed was slower than normal, hence I hit far too hard.

But having read your post, I am now paranoid.....when did Icon start bugging the cups....all this talk of conspiracy.......gulp!
