Meter locked up on the last, gr8 scrambling till then, WGTs inconsistant game play - Alt loading issues - blue and white screens- inflation busting price hikes, etc etc  ad infinitum, make it harder to log on everyday, slowly losing interest in putting myself through the wringer everyday. ;-(

P.S , Sarting a bracket in CC and the usual expected , "unexpected error", will anything ever get fixed here  !!!    < shaking head >

Good round apart from couple of bad putting misses on 4 and 6.

PS: The round did not affect my average. I remember the TIO rounds earlier in the year(Kiawah,Bethpage) used to.

#1: 3 shot hole.. 3rd shot pulled 8ft left of pin. Made L-R for par

#2: Short with approach in the bunker. Red uphill lie ,got it out inside 3 ft for par

#3: Perfect slight headwind from the right. Stiffed it to 2ft for birdie

#4: Tough sidehill lie as always on this hole. Approach hit the bank and shot to 60ft past the pin. Missed fairly simple 6ft for par

#5:Couldn't reach in 2.. flop flopped down to 9 ft.. made the uphill l-r putt for par

#6: Couldn't reach in 2 again. 34 yd short hit it to 4ft.. Gave it away with a terrible putt.Bogey

#7: Safe approach 15ft left of flag. Made 15ft slight early click putt for birdie

#8: Tee shot ran bit more than expected. made curling 17ft L-R for birdie

#9:Good 2nd to 13ft. Missed it on low side for par.

#10: Safe approach to 28ft. Putt shaved the right edge.par

#11: Good approach to 15 ft.. Too high on L-R putt from short left.Par

#12: Hit the downslope short and went over the green.Pitch out to 10ft.. Made breaking R-L putt from above the hole .Par

#13:Well long and safe. 2 putt par

    #14:Missed fairway right. Approach 24 yd short.11 ft over on 3rd.missed putt.Bogey

#15:27 ft long and right off the tee.Left birdie putt at the mouth.Par

    #16: Reached in 4.made par

#17:Steep DH putt for birdie as the club screenshot shows.lagged it down for par.

#18: 27ft past the pin on the approach.. Just enough pace on the putt for a bonus birdie

Great to see a string of complete and correct club proof entries, and some very solid scores. Congrats to Razza on an excellent sub-par round, which I believe is our best authenticated low-score* to date!

I've been short of time this last week, and will be this week too, so the stats spreadsheet will come late on for these tourneys, but I wanted to post my own sponsorship of a sleeve for the following 3 prizes:

    1) Highest overall percentage of Greens in Regulation  (tiebreaker: AveDistancePin)          SPONSORED: Corwyn

    2) Closest Ave. Distance to the Hole        SPONSORED: Corwyn

    8) Most 1-Putt Saves (as determined by scorecard)    SPONSORED: Corwyn

It's not too late to sponsor any prize if the mood so takes you. Donations very welcome!

Reminder: R1 closes Wednesday night at midnight WGT time.

    -----------------------

    * I do notice a "Sly" 68 on the leaderboard, which may have been too "EZ".

Much too late at night for me to be playing or making recap posts. I'll just leave my verification here and post the scorecard etc. tomorrow if my entry is accepted.

First two pictures were taken in case I chipped in. I believe the only thing needed from the third pic is the green speed, but I switched to the 3 wood just in case.

First 2 pics cover it, mm: bag hover and showing both 3W & 3H verifies the yardages on those clubs and that they are Starters. The hover also proves the wedges are SW & LW (and not fancier degree wedges).

There's no need to prove green speed, since that's fixed by the official WGT tourney set-up. (We only had to show that when playing our own set-ups in pairs in the distant past for multiplayer TIO).

Well, in theory 3W and 3H are fixed by the official WGT tourney setup, so I wasn't sure.

Unfortunately, my browser has helpfully logged off  from WGT during the night, so I won't be able to take scorecard and stats pics. It's too bad because I made three long bombs and I'm curious what my total distance of putts made was.

I started sloppy, as usual, with bogeys on 1 and 2 followed by a save from right of the green on 3 after I forgot that even a dinged shot could shoot off anywhere. Then a 45 foot birdie on #4 pulled me back to +1.

Riding that high, I promptly sliced my drive into the trees on #5 and had to lay up. My 9 iron approach was pretty decent, but I missed the 4.5 footer down the hill. I bogeyed #6, parred #7, and hit a good tee shot on #8 but lipped out the 14 footer. Then just barely reached the front of the green on #9, missed the ding badly on my putt, and left myself another 4.5 footer downhill which I missed.

Got up and down from back of the green on #10, got up and down from short of the green on #11, sliced it into the greenside bunker on #12 for a bogey, and then on #13 I holed another lengthy birdie to get back to +4.

I pulled my drive on #14 just enough that I couldn't go at the green, but I attempted to hook it around the trees... and sliced it into the first greenside bunker, which I didn't even remember existed. Blasted it out with an 8 iron to 25 feet and buried the par putt.

Par on #15, par on #16, and then birdie on #17 from 9 feet left me at +3. But I made another mental error on the approach to #18, under-reading the sideslope and sending my approach into the right bunker. I left my sand shot in the rough short, but was able to get up and down for bogey from there.
