refund please

    rg # 89954

    had the most insane game going till it borked up - meter was skipping like crazy all throughout the game, very stange physics throughout where balls out of the sand went further that those from the fairway.

    lost ball on Kiawah par3 water hole due to 2cm meter skip , ended up on the road at sta road hole and was told it was 50/60 fescue(?!) , had at least 6 putts metered in 14 holes before I wd.

    just before this game shot 27 at kia f9 rg with zero problems.

    and I also closed and reopened the browser as I always do before each 9 holes.

    I would like my entry fee back plus my ball thanks!

    it was ridiculous!

    oh I forgot - I also submitted a bug report if that's gonna help.

    Hi Tom,
    I am sorry to hear that you are having troubles with the Swing Meter. Since you're encountering these issues we recommend trying the following:

    - Trouble shooting steps and system requirements, particularly clearing the browser and Flash cache:
    http://www.wgt.com/forums/t/635.aspx

    - Close other programs, browser windows and browser tabs

    - Have the wgt.com website open but minimized and not displayed

    - Play WGT in the original window size, do not maximize it to full screen

    - Turn off Reflections, Flag Animation, Background Loading, Avatar rotations, and WGT Lessons in your Options

    If this doesn't help please contact us again with further details on the problem so we can help with a solution.

    hello again wgt, that response wasn't helpful at all.

    I was asking for a refund for the ready-go that went apeshit on me, then u give me instructions for my swing?

    ive been here almost 6 years and I do know what im doing computer-wise. like I said before, the game previous to that was flawless. so what should I do - go thru that checklesi everytime I have to play a game?

    im confused - my initial post was regarding a refund plus a ball.

    and I got given that?

    Yup, these replies are usually computer generated....it picks out key words/phases and misses the point in the inept generated response.

    So why are we directed to CS when this is not customer service?

     Because if they directed you to where they really wanted us all to go, and that's the the Pro Shop and Buy Credits page, the gig would be up. It's these  subtle wordings that lead us all to believe they really give a rats azz about customer satisfaction.

    The response CS gave Wontonamo was classic WGT style. See no evil, speak no evil and hear no evil.
