new 250yd 3w with more forgiveness than accuracy would be nice

  there still is no 250yd 3w with good forgiveness so i suggest releasing one with 3.5 precision, 4.5 forgiveness with a 3.5 meter speed, sacrificing accuracy for forgiveness, wgt seems to be all about precision but how about some good forgiveness, we dont need to be flag hunting when we play uneven lies

  Interesting....this seems to be a similar thread to the on-going BB 3 wood discussion. Currently, the two 3 woods that basically match your criteria are the top Taylor made ...and the Max. The TM is rated for 242 yds and the Max is rated for 240 yds...so a little short of 250...but the forgiveness and meter speed are really good.

  Personally, I find 240-242 yds is plenty long in a 3 wood, but obviously everyone has different tastes.

  the max is crazy slow, cant handle the max clubs and the TM is a 3.0 meter and is very tough for me too, 3.5 meter 250 3w with ok accuracy and good forgiveness would be useful, i dont mind it if doesnt go where i aimed

  well, that's certainly a statement I don't see very often...although, I can achieve this with most any club available....lol

  In the long run, I think it's best that the top 3 woods wander like they do. There are enough darts thrown with the irons, and I wouldn't want to see a longer dart thrower.

  I would say that 3w shouldnt be too forgiving/precise. After all, you're hitting a 250+ yard shot, so it can't be as precise as a 9i

  as i said above i dont want precision, the Lv97 250yd 3w is 4.5 precision 2.5 forgiveness with a 3.5 meter which is very precise but has very little forgiveness, how about 3.5 precision 3.5 forgiveness with a 3.5 meter, it dosent have to be precise/go where you aimed as long as you can hit some part of the green or fairway,you really cant throw darts with a 3w in real life.

  swap the stats/attributes of the BB driver and the BB 3w to make it more interesting, i would rather have a 3w that has good forgiveness and a driver that has ok forgiveness.

  create a package deal with driver and 3w combo with the 3w being the one with the better forgiveness and the driver with less forgiveness (say around 3.0)

  I do beg to differ as we have drivers going over 280 yards with 4.5 forgiveness and precision . Also if you look at 3 wds like the

  L 81 G25 has 3.0 forgiveness 242 yrds .

  L84+ T/M R1S 3.0 forgiveness 242 yrds.

  L92+ Max has 4.0 forgiveness 240 yrds.

  But then the L89+ & L97+ BB`s are only 2.5 forgiveness . The L89+ is 245 yrds which is only 3-5 yards longer than the above 3 clubs mentioned . The L97+ has only an 8-10 yard differential which should not make that much of a difference .

  So yeah the L89+ BB 3wd should be at least 3.0 and the L97+ should be equal to the L92+ Max at 4.0 or 3.5 minimum .

  i would happily use a 287yd driver that is tough to find the fairway and a 3w that i have confidence in and will get on the short grass, green or fairway

  For what it's worth I 've used the taylormade Rocketballz for ages, specs aredistance 240

  precision 3.5 forgiveness 3 and meter speed 4.

  It has served me well and still under 1000 credits, good luck.
