Pebble Beach is just gorgeous! Can't wait to play this with Uneven Lies (#9 will be a doozy!).
Thought folks might like to see this sneaky attempt on #9 to hit a 200 yard LW pitch up close to the green with Starters ... it came real close to judging the contours perfectly, but got snagged in a bit of rough while making the tricky right-hand turn. Still turned out to get 147yards out of a 14 yard rated shot: not bad!
I was actually expecting the shot to run out of time with the 30-second rule, but it didn't seem to take effect. Has that been removed now?
Edit: Hmmm... now I watch the replay after the fact, and for me it freezes at 67 yds. Strange... the original replay clearly kept going 45+ seconds and 147 yards to the cart-path junction.
Into the wind, I couldn't reach the fairway, so tried to land on the tiny front tee instead. Missed it a few yards left and then decided to explore the cart-path route :)

Prize on offer: I'll give a sleeve of choice to the first three players to post sub-par round for Pebble Beach f9 with full Starter gear. (Must produce club-proof screenshots/video as per Tough-It-Out tourneys). This is the antidote to everyone feeling that Pebble Beach so far is too easy, lol!
Edit: Actually, it's been pointed out to me that of course the TIO tourneys are different, since the club requirements in place for those mean we only need certain screenshots there. For this challenge, the club proof has to be more exhaustive.
Thus, to prove Starter gear with screenshots rather than a video, I'll need to see 7 different Starter Club pics (D, 3W, 3H, SW, LW, any Iron, Putter)! (there's a perfect example from ahades at the top of page 12.)
