  The back door's been available since last week...and was posted in plenty of Pebble Beach threads.  The "usual culprits" simply paid attention and played a few rounds on it that way.

  Even with my crappy putting and approach shots, I managed a -5.  So, anyone with a half decent reaction time and knowledge of their clubs/ball combo should be able to shoot pretty low there.

   

  I just recently decided to try the L71 Nike ball again and went out there with nothing but feel for the shots.

  I have played Pebble at least 25-30 times in the last week. I shot a 27 Sunday night then turned around and shot a 35 in the tournament. It is a fairly easy front 9 if your timing is right, which mine wasn't this morning.

  Yes ... it's an easy nine. Hopefully the back nine will be tougher. I know one of the par 5's will be ... :-) no hitting long irons onto that one and having an easy putt for eagle.

  Wait! Let me rephrase that. How this game can be and IS manipulated. Please.

  I still get a kick out of the players who keep slammin their money down on those ridiculous RG's. Knowing how many players get over and they STILL can't get enough of the RG's,,LOL! Toooooo funny.

  i managed 27 and a hole in oneski on 5! one bad tee shot or else it was 26 easily.

  andy 25!! boom 

   

  im sure the course will play tougher as the conditions tighten up.
