    chrisironsbones:
Buy 2 packs of legend balls instead....

LOL. You get the Callaways for the same price .1 pack of Legend balls=120 credits.

    The Callaways are 300 a pack but last 2 1/2 times longer. 120 x 2 1/2 = 300.  Even cheaper if you go for the 250 Callaways.  Just don't lose them.  :-)

Doesn't last that much longer either,  aprox 2 ,18 hole rounds, legend balls were 1 and a half ish, so 6 legend balls last longer than 3 obviously.

But Callaway is 2 and a half notches, legends are 1 and a half, so they are don't last 2 1/2 times longer , theire not even twice as durable, 1 and a half notches times 2 = 3....So 2 packs of legend balls DO last longer than 1 pack of Callaways!!

Oh, I see what you mean Soulcatcher. Ty for that, looks like they are not that expensive after all..  Well, I just finished 4 nine holers and a CTTH... and the ball is still going. Interesting to see how longer it will go.

    Cheers

Ok, I have now played 8..9 hole Ready Go's, 1 CTTH and 1..9 hole Alt shot game with my first Calloway Ball... The Ball meter is just about finished.

The new balls look sick. Should be able to get some serious dooosion with these babies. Too bad I can't afford them. Wonder why the master scores have suddendly dropped.

Do that math again for me please-having a dumb moment here.  :-)

    From Mantis in another thread.....

"I have just about finished my first ball,    8....9 hole Ready Go's, 1 CTTH and 1 Alt Shot game. So I think the price of the balls are well worth it."

He's likely referring to the GI2-SD2 legend balls, YJ. Those have 1.5 dots of durability

I realize that PGA but my original example didn't. Chris just wants to not like them (and he's since changed his tune. )   :-)

Why should the best be available to legends only????  In real golf all equipment is available to EVERYONE.  It's up to the individual whether they want to buy it or not.  Is Phil Mickleson better than you or me because he uses better equipment than we do?  No.  Does he hit longer drives than you or me becasue us uses better equipment?  No.  Is his short game better than yours and mine because he uses better equipment?  No.  Is he overall a better player because he is more skillful with the same equipment?  Yes.

So legends, are you legends because you have better equipment than everyone else, or are you better because you are more skillful?  Some posts from X152nnnn spring to mind here!!!

If you want to be the best, then prove you're the best on equal terms.  Those lesser ranked players will soon move up to legend as well; will you still be complaining about them then???  Will you be able to beat them then???  Yes, I know your tees are further back, but rather than complaining, use your skill to get close with your approach shots and putting.  If you do that then you will still be competitive, and if you're as good as you're meant to be, then you will still be winning (and not whinning!) most of the time.

There is 1 thing you all fail to consider: you all assume that these are the last balls that we will offer, ever...
