    was probably just a joke...he is a master and has probably seen players do that before, and from a lot farther away...I know that you and I have.

    Before WGT changed it you could earn the Choke relief award by making short par putts with the driver. The choke relief award is making par or better with a drive of less than 100 yards. Before the change the game saw a putt made with a driver as a drive of under 100 yards so many of use made a lot of our unmissable short par putts with our driver to earn that award. I think I got up to gold before the change.

    I think I read about ppl making the 'Bottom of the Cup'  awards by using a different piece of equipment besides the putter, too.  (e.g. the 3W)

    Bottom of the Cup 9
    12 or fewer putts in a 9-hole round
