Is anyone else having this problem.  Occasionally when driving off the tee I find that I have been given either a 60 wedge or an 80 wedge.  Yesterday I had the ultimate,  teeing off on a par5 5 it gave me my driver for the first shot off the tee and then a driver again for the second.  What the hell is happening with WGT at the moment?.

Obviously you have not been paying your caddie. I have fired mine many times. The answer may be to carry my own clubs but WGT and the PGA don't allow this.

I have almost done this on a number of occasions. I have the sound on that alerts you when the club changes so I catch it, sometimes in the backswing. What I found causes it, in my case, is the wireless mouse. Sometimes just moving it changes the club even though only the scroll wheel is supposed to.

    Having that alert on helps.

Where do you set that Jim?

Sounds in the game settings.  Not an actual setting called alert or anything, it's just the sound of switching clubs that alerts one when they change a club.

I know it's helped me many many times.   My mouse wheel is getting a bit worn out and finicky.

I just slid all the sound bars in the audio options all the way to the left and it's still makes the noise when changing clubs.   Think the only way to turn it off is to mute the game all together.

Yes, as long as you hear the clubs you'll hear the club choice change and you don't have to listen to all that other garden garbage to get it.

I got my putter handed to me on the tee today as soon as the next hole loaded, think it was number 8 at PB and the hole playing downwind I looked down before even touching the mouse to choose my 3 wood...and there was the putter.

Trust your caddie. Your caddie knows more than you think.
