I don't think it's fair to knock a club, just because they win every clash. There are plenty of other clubs out there with enough members to give them a good run for their money, they just appear to lack the desire to do so. The way these events are scored is the problem, not a club that has found a way to maximise points.
WGT made things better by making a good score worth more points than a bad one. One step has been made, now they just need to add a few more and actually go for a walk, there's a good product waiting at the end.
If they counted only a certain number of rounds it would totally level the field. Clubs with 10 members playing against ones with 200 plus is never going to work when every round counts. Make it 10, 20, 40 or whatever but not too high a number or it will be a waste of time changing anything. And don't make it the best scores, make it the first ones posted. Once the required number of rounds have been played that's it, no more.
That way we'd really all have a chance, ability to play well and communication within the club as to who plays the rounds would actually count for something.
I'm not saying The Georgian don't have the skills to still win but at least it would be a closer battle.
