    I have posted about my second shot bug on this hole a few times now. I tried the bug report nothing but nothing i do brings it up so am unable to. I have, howver, saved the shot so if you go to my profile it can be seen under For WGT. I know this is maybe not ideal way to do it but given the bug report window doesn't show for me it is all i can think of. I hope one of you takes the time to look at it and explain to me how it is happening as it is happening to me 70-80 of the time on this shot no matter what i try.

    Hey Bohemian. Thank you for sending the replay, unfortunately without being able to see the conditions, and your swing meter, etc. it's pretty difficult to determine what's going on in this replay. Can you give a little more information about what we're seeing here, including any wind that you may remember about the shot?

    You got the good old WGT flim flam . The replay doesnt show anything other than what looks like you shanked it hard left . It wont show your club being used or anything else to determine fault . Also the replays never show the meter and never have . Its how WGT covers it up when cheating you out of a ball . In the future always remember , when its your fault the replays will clearly show it . When its a WGT rip off you will get the poorest views possible every time .

    Why does it say 2nd Cut of Rough 2-5% Lie when he appears to be well fully in the fairway? I've never seen a 2 to 5 % rough lie, and 2nd cut at that? He's in the fairway by far. Something weird there?

    WGT changed that sometime ago. The replays now show the last resting spot of the ball.

    If you look at this Replay it shows on the green when it is actually teed up.

    As for the OP, this might be something like what Scotthope had described about not noticing that the aim marker gets accidently moved. Maybe you changed clubs before your shot and the aimer moved then.

    What browser are you using Bo?

    @Zio.
    I have responded to another post of Bo's to mention the jumping aim marker but he didn't come back with anything.

    Hi Bo, I'm pretty sure this is what's happening on Merion 16.

    I went to that spot on 16 using the Play One Hole facility here and after 7 pitches/chips I was in the same spot of your replay:

    I then tried to move the aimer as if I was adjusting for cross wind.  As soon as I try to move it the aim box "snaps" to this position. From 132 to 15 yards.

    I left the aim box right there and hit the shot.  Here's the replay.

    I got the same result as you.  Way left of the green.

    After that initial "snap" the aim box is no where near aimed at the pin.

    That will happen on some holes because of the terrain between the ball an green.  Based on this result I'm lead to believe you're aiming from the player view as I did.  Try using the Zoom view to adjust your aim.

    Andy

    Very nice work Andy. So it is not accidental that the aim marker is moved, it's a limitation of the program to follow the terrain?
