I will follow your "see this post" notes to see what I need to do, but it is not obvious why all this is necessary.  The tournament would not let me play until I was equipped with only starter clubs and starter ball.  Have other players found a way to get around this and cheat?

All this is fair enough but all i want to do is play golf. Every time i've tried to test the program and enter a TIO without the correct clubs i always get an error msg and I can't compete until i change them. Why isn't this the same for everyone?? How are some cheating the system?? Doesn't make sense to me. I don't want to download and use photoshop and then upload and blah blah blah. I just want to play golf, and I can't understand why it detects my clubs aren't correct but others can slip through. Again, it just doesn't make sense. The TIO's are my best chance of getting a decent prize. It's more of a 'level playing field' when everyone has to use the same equipment, and i do better. But no, the dickheads who just want to win eveything have to go and spoil it for the overwhelming majority who play in the spirit of fun, and some healthy competition. Pathetic losers all you cheats. All the males who do it are softcock pussies. All the women are, well whatever. But all of you have no life. It's so sad that you get your redemption from cheating in an online game. You're so hopeless in real life that you need to make up for your loser ways online. Ok, nuff said. BTW, to all the rest of you doing the right thing, all the best. J.

    Played very well.

Just one very bad deviation on my 3w approach to #10. Thought it was perfect but ended up way left of where it should have. Had an orange uphill sidehill 40-50% rough.

Definitely can not count on much precision with the starters.

So you tried to cheat and are upset you were not able to?

Corwyn is doing everything he can to prevent cheating in the tournaments he hosts which is a good thing. Wish Corwyn did not have to do all that extra work verifying clubs used.

I know it is frustrating especially when I forget the screen shots myself.

Placeholder for my R1 report. Finished with a few minutes to spare, gulp... must stop cutting it so fine! (kept having to reload browser when camera views ceased working).

Had an awful start, bogeying first two and failing to birdie 3 & 4, effectively dropping 4 shots off the bat, so not too bad to recover to a 74, especially as I barely made a putt.

Card and stats etc are here. Round description to follow tomorrow after some sleep...

    #1 10@430 D>215 >2nd layup >51 3rd to 2yd long right; just too high/hard with 7ft curler    BOGEY

#2  8@11 D >286 >140, 3rd misjudged sideslope and into rough by bunker and way hard on pitch out from red-box darn, just missed 11ft curler downhill  BOGEY

#3 8@1030 >78 2nd to 7ft and pulled the dead-straight 7.7ft putt, doh! criminal error on one of few chances PAR

#4 14@12 bad wind D 269 >250 >93 big downhill lie pulled 3rd ran on 4yds, dinged the putt but bit hard and lipped out 12ft aarghh! PAR

    #5  13@9 D >212 > 2nd >35 short; good 3rd to 1yd, 3.3ft save PAR

#6  10@230 bad wind. dinged 3H but hard bounce off a downslope and through back  pitch 2yds short, sunk 5.4ft save PAR

#7 14@7 came up short with 4i, 19ft close but no cigar, 0.9ft save PAR

#8 11@1130 D >200 and way too much with 2nd flew through, hit flop as soft as dared but still 3yds past, watched replay to see small R-L break, but then return putt aimed right edge and dinged but didn't break at all! darn  BOGEY

    #9  11@12 D 243> 222 good 3W to 6yds, too hard on dinged 19ft try , 3ft save PAR

#10  13@12 D 174 missed right downwind, impossible to hold green. Nasty spot with huge downhill slope. flop way past impossible to stop,  great 18ft putt curled in PAR

#11  12@1 dingD 237 >81 poor pushed 2nd long anyway 4yds, not close from horrible spot, 2ft save PAR

#12 13@2  >270 7yds past on 3rd shot not close with 21ft dinged putt  PAR

#13 12@315 dinged 3H seemed right number but way short, dinged 35ft putt went way left, 4ft PAR

#14 12@1230 dingD 243 >100 dinged 2nd goes way to back, good try from 33ft misses low  PAR

    #17  14@7 ding 3yds past made 9ft putt BIRDIE

#18 10@730 missed 35ft putt, and sunk 1.2ft par save PAR
