New Taylormade M1 and Callaway Big Bertha Alpha 815

    Are they ever going to be offered at a higher level?   Or has Callaway and Taylormade both made a new model that is no better than their previous models?

     

    Makes no sense to me.    Seems they should have some improvement over the last model, even if it's a few yards longer but faster swing speed or less forgiveness.  

    I'm not interested in a slower metered driver unless they decide to add new irons to match the meter speed of the driver, but then the wedges would need to fall in line with matching meter speed too.

    Not that we need anything "better" but would be nice to have variety at the top levels.

    ...I guess bombing 300 yd drives from TP tees will soon be considered average, as wgt continues to stock more powerful drivers and better irons, and make them available based on level instead of tier...level 96 Pros and TPs rejoice..:)

    It's a wonder why anyone would resort to actual cheating? The built in advantage of teeing off 100 yards closer than your opponent, using the same equipment and balls, will take care of itself in terms of win-loss.

    well looking for something new in Dec. be it irons,woods, or balls,at the higher level.

    I just hope we didn't use Dec. downtime on the 1 hour shut down.

    As far as meter speeds go ... I would like to see the drivers having the fastest meter ...

    Then the meters becoming progressively slower, from 3 wood down to hybrids, irons, wedges ...

    and down to the putter which should have the slowest meter. 

    It would be closer to the swings used in real life golf ...

    This was the response from WGT.  And I must say, the response time was pretty darn good. :-)

    What are the chances we'll see these two new drivers available in the higher levels? I'm looking for a new driver in real life and these two are among my choices and would be cool to play one here as well as real life golf.

    Makes it hard to consider them when they are portrayed on WGT as not any better than the previous models.

    R1 is still better than the R15 and M1 and the Big Bertha Alpha is still better than the Big Bertha Alpha 815 according to the WGT proshop.

    I'm thinking Callaway and Taylormade design new clubs to be an improvement over their previous models.

    Woody the December downtime was actually the last of November  when they released the front 9 of Pebble to everyone.

          mabye the PGA "tour"  pro's can give it a real rip off the tee w/ their driver! but for the the average player from driver to your 56* wedge TEMPO is the real key! there's a saying i really like, swing easy & accept the extra yardage :)   ..

    Lest we for get the new Nike Vapor Fly drivers.

    According to Nike this is what Rory and the rest of the Nike Staff players will be using in 2016.
