Having come 3rd in Event#14 we have the opportunity to select a new B O par 3 course. The obvious  new holes will be our selection with no Cabo  or Whistler (as recommended by WGT)  I think this a great opportunity to create 2 courses new that count on average and incorperate our latest   additional courses. Get rid of B O P 3s and par 5s to create a mixture of the top 3 clubs  selections. look forward to your replies. cheers. 4 x par 5s  and 2 pars 3 would ive par 73 lovin it

Look my thoughts on the so termed "clash" are well known I would think.  However never against any one achieving their own personal goals, and well done to you for doing that.  Also nice of you to ask.

    BoPar 3s - Boring waste of time ;

( WGT are playing with fire if that goes though IMHO (if read things right that it can after a quick scan).  Several have liked it for fast mindless XPs, and If New Ideas think more will do the clash for XPs my guess is keep thinking....)

BoP5s - Liked it for some reason, but if goes not a huge deal either.

After that I personally think just a good solid mix of whatever you decide will be as good as anyone would do.

    JMHO :)

Good luck with it and have fun.

Existing courses are exempt?  I'd hate to see the Old Course messed with and surely wgt couldn't and wouldn't want to.

Would it not be better for your idea of a proper mix of holes to be another addition, the more choice the better?  One of the many things I don't know is whether there is a significant cost in keeping existing (best of) courses open.

You have a proof or link?

I highly doubt that statement, given that courses show a broad variety as a proof against it.

Many courses, even on PGA-Tour, are less than Par 72. What's the "ruling" on these?

Lately I asked in Portugal what "666" meant to the "Quinta do Vale" course?
    "6x Par 3, 6xPar 4, 6x Par5" was the answer - beautiful yet difficult course!

All you have to do to know that ruling is probably bogus is to look at the 2 British courses we have. Neither has par 3's and 3 par 5''s.

St. Andrews has 2 of each and is par 72

RSG has 4 par 3's and 2 par 5's and is par 70

The courses that  you are playing on here are all recognised courses  that are set by this standard, The Best Of courses are just a bit of fun that WGT  have put together for your fun

The OP asked for some input about a new BOF course. Would it not be a good idea to refresh this, have a change and all that !!

So much negativity on here. It's little wonder I am spending less and less time on here. And no I have no trouble at all with disconnections and neither do the majority of people when I do play a MP game !! Just getting tired of all the moaners and knockers, if you don't like it ...... well the answers obvious !

But as soon as the OP put the question, out came the negative comments, wasn't what he asked for was it ?

So what you are asking for is what holes might be suggested to change the BoP 3 into a new Best of Course with a Par of 72?

(PS - a Par 73 might be fun but playing the Par 37 side or the full 18 would really impact averages as averages are calculate by WGT by the raw score not the score relative to Par.)
