Longest Extra Hole Match????

Just wondering what the record is for longest 9 hole match. I just played KyRock75 and we went 23 holes on STA backside. Was a crazy match, birdie after birdie.

I got hosed on 8th extra hole (17) leaving approach shot short but on green with no chance of getting anywhere near. Tried to hit a full shot but came up short of bunker. Flop in on last rotation and Rock lips out birdie putt to extend match.

Well played Rock. Was a very fitting end to my last match here. Still interested if someone has had a match go longer.

Jeez, lasting 23 holes with you is quite the feat, hell I was impressed I made to #9 in our match lol. As to the original topic, I've not heard of any 9hole match going that long, longest I've had is 16 holes. I think there was a match in our CC tourney that went 20ish, but I'm not sure. Sad to see you're retiring, Jake. You're one of the true elite of the game, best of luck in your future endeavors.

23 Holes? on a 9 Hole round? amazing.. wish I had played in that game! Good on ya!

I was in the match PGA mentioned, we had to play 11 extra hole on the B9 of oakmount. and if i do remember correctly, my opponent and myself both shot 30's on our second back 9. with myself winning with a birdie on the 11th extra hole.

The match to this day; was one of my most enjoyable experiences at WGT.

lol... believe that when I see it! But then again I may not be here to see it, haha...

That is the longest I've heard of though, think I would lose focus after 3 extras ;)

That's a classic Jake, longest match I was ever in ended up not even having a winner. Forget who I was playing I know it was fellow mpc warrior, front 9 at Kia. made it to 8 tee second time around. We both had a small window to get the match in, 1/2hr. or less is normal time. We both typed can we just drop match at same time, had a good laugh. So 17 holes total. JB
