  Sounded Scottish as an homage to the games beginnings.....and it descibes my playing style perfectly.

  Mine is actually just part of my e-mail address. It comes from back when I played a lot of hockey. I was a goalie and the guys used to joke that that was the only place I couldn't stop a shot, high to the glove side.  My given name is Charles, but most everyone calls me Doc or Chuck, with a few Charlies thrown in.

  Hmmm ... while I prefer to remain mysterious myself (if you know you know), since you mentioned names one must give a shout-out to the coolest name up on the WGT and such: IvaThongon

  I'm a huge baseball fan, and thanks to some members of our CC.......i even now watch cricket :-)  my name is part Detroit Tigers fan, and the numbers are from the street address when i was born.

  Iva has a cool name  but my favourite username in WGT belongs to my closest friend in the game (no bias then), step forward - KISSMYDIVOT - still makes me smile every time we play.

  My name-

   Paul - obvious.

  Ton - the 'Ton is my local teams nickname Greenock Morton F.C. established 1874. Won 1 trophy of note in 1922.

  My 1st game was 49 years ago when as a 4 year old I sat on my Dads shoulders, no clue what was happening but soaking in the experience. I've been addicted ever since and have seen my team bounce around the divisions without ever winning any major trophy.

  I still go the games as often as I can, every year I think this will be the season we do something special, we never do and I wouldn't change one minute of it. C'mon ye 'Ton!

  I possibly wandered of topic, due to the 2 hot toddies my good lady made me to fend off the cold impending man-flu.

  Paul, my son-in-law is a die hard Chelsea fan...so it could be worse...lol

  ps... a recent ranking of the most valuable sports teams in the world had Real Madrid in first place, followed by the NY Yankees, then Dallas Cowboys...Man U came in 5th place, if memory serves. Unfortunately, the only legitimate sport, Hockey, didn't crack the top ten.
