A Top 5 payout in CC Comps

  would there be any chance of implementing this? 

  it's just an idea as it might open up the field a bit for more people to have a go. top 3 is fine, but you rarely get new winners and in top 10 unless it's a big field you've still got to finish high to get reasonable money back.

  i was thinking top 5 might be a happy medium?

  Why not put it on the main thread as well advocating bringing back the old ready go system

  thanks bruce, i just thought something like a  45%,  25%,  15% ,  10%,   5%  for example would give a good spread of payout?

  when you say main thread, do you mean our CC thread?

  I think it ought to work a little bit like poker; the more players you have, the more prizes there are.  So, for example, for 10 entrants there are 3 prizes; for 20 entrants 5 prizes, for 40 entrants 8 prizes.  These are only examples but I hope you see where I'm going with it.

  Also, I think number of payouts for CC comps should be set by the comp owner.

  One answer would be to join a larger more active club. Then you get 40/50 participants in the competitions.

  which is only good for top 10 payouts, it makes it even harder to get a podium place with that sort of number in top 3.

  cheers for the reply though.  i'm happy with the club, i'm with just trying to see if there's a way that a few more can get a bit more :)
