    OneRightWay:
In a game where Legend and Tour Master and Champion Levels play, is there a way to suggest to WGT to prompt/ID when opposing players are using Standard balls before deciding to play in games?

II don't know why you limit the question to only a few tiers which happen to be same or higher than yours, but anyway:

Suggestions should be transmitted via the "Contact" link below. Let me give a few hints to likely answers:

    - "We put it on the list."

    - "There's no plans about this in the moment."

Concerning the proposal itself, I give you a straight No!

Reason 1a: It's a programming effort with no benefit for the company - they don't want this.

Reason 1b: It's a program change with high risk of new errors - you don't want this.

Reason 2: Players who have entered (like you) have the opportunity to change their equipment before the game starts - any prior information would be dubious.

I will and you won't .... as I use the free ball exclusively. So if you see me in a lobby, you have been advised.

Not sure why someone using a starter or free ball would make a difference. If a player is a high level / teir with a low average, they must know how to play with the ball they have equipped. I know it is not the case all the time but the players I see using the free balls usually know how to play and score well with them.

Usually, tier and average of Ls and above have been achieved with custom balls - the Rocks are just too bad. Especially with custom clubs, the meter is awfully fast.

Then, some change back to them, for the challenge or perhaps to save expenses, or as a sign of dissatisfaction concerning the state of the game.

I have played several higher level members who use the starter balls. They do very well with them and I see no issue what so ever. They have spent the time to figure out the rocks and all I have is praise for these players. They are the true players on here. I would say they are getting the biggest bang for the buck. Using the best clubs and not wasting their hard earned money on something that can be taken away with one swing.

Just my useless 2 cents as usual.

bump.  I know of a good bud from another golf site that uses starter balls on here.  He is a legend.  I have no problem playing him.  Always that 1 time I might beat him.  I keep trying.  Playing him or any legend or above I look at trying to improve my game.

I have played Luigi many times and he does use the range ball exclusively...and he is an exceptionally good player. It's like any piece of equipment...once you get use to it, you will become good using it. Starter putters are another example ...many high tier players still use them, simply because they are use to them, ergo they putt well with them.
