fmagnets: As I said, the above leaderboard is q1. [...] It is meant to be a summation of all the quarters' earnings, to produce leaderboards for the whole of 2015. I'd suggest waiting until they have had a go at fixing everything, then pick holes if it is still wrong.
I don't think so. Logic demands a Q4 leaderboard, and it exists, in secrecy. I'm guessing that this is but a mangled Q1 leaderboard, and they dropped the Q2 - Q4 leaderboards by virtue of their outstanding "Bielefeld QA" - time will show.
BTW: The missing quarterly leaderboards are accessible by modification of the "qtr" parameter at the end of the link:

I have to say that those 16-01-08 News passed my attention because I didn't receive them by mail, which I usually do. It contains quite a lot of errors *waves hand to Bielefeld":
1) As you stated, the Top 10 finishers shown are from Q1 only, many players who became Champions later being pushed to an imaginary C leaderboard which is obsolete - no Cs in Q1.
2) the News shows a player on top of the Feb-15 leaderboards in two tiers who is only TM now,
and both of the numbers are wrong, too, as 112.99 ft rounds to 113:

3) At the bottom, the News says,
And coming soon, the top two Champion tier players from the December New
York Life Championship will compete in a live streamed match,
which is wrong again, according to my information. The top Champions of the VT in Q4/2015, Tasor and fmagnets, are said to play a match any time soon...
O si tacuisses WGT...
BTW: One number is revealing, if we believe anything in those "News":
"900,000 entrants" shows a large level of participation IMHO. Those players may have played at least 2,000,000 rounds, at approx. 10 rounds per sleeve it's 200,000 sleeves, times 250 cr ?in average? (my Callies) = 50,000,000 credits. Prizes were 4x800,000 = 3,200,000 cr - that leaves 94 % on the positive side for WGT.
That might be called a success, won't it?
