  I dont really think so and here is why. Many of the premium weekly multi round tourneys have been played from shorter tees and the same goes for ready-gos and many of the special tourneys. Even some of the Virtual Tour rounds gave been from shorter tees.

  What she is referring to is players with top equipment padding their stats by playing Country Club tourneys from the hack (Red) tees.

  It's an easy birdie and or eagle from the hack tees.

  That is her point.

  Before WGT changed the Country Club Teebox settings, scoring eagles and birdies was much more difficult.

  The move to allow Legends on up to play ranked rounds from the lesser tee box is a WGT financial move to make the average player lower their averages ,hence playing more spending more cash.

  Personally I don't care about averages ... when you compete with someone ,their true talent is shown front and center.

  Of course, people could also simply pad their stats by only posting their good rounds in which they have decent numbers (for example, in terms of scoring or putting and scrambling). Not that I would know anything about that! ;-)

  I hear you guys, I do. For me too, some holes offered real challenge and if I get eagle on them, it really felt like something special.

  With that said, excluding stats while being able to offer shorter tees for CC, tournaments, is not something that can easily or even be done. The main issue is, how to exclude it, since stats are kept for rated tournaments, tees excluded.  Not only it's too late to do so, but I don't know how easily it would happen since the core logic of the stats has to be looked at. That's also why last tier is invite only. If you gotten there, then it means you are truly a special talent. We will also use it for meritorious purposes.

  In the end (and this may sound like a copout), we all know who are the best players are here.

  ill be first to admit, that my first double eagle came from a shorter tee. I wanted to get an 18 birdie streak award a few years ago and played off 1 shorter tee on kiawah and holed out from around 210 yards for a double eagle. Did it make me feel cheaper, not at all. it was my first. I have 5 now and 1 f them was on live broadcast :D

  The fix would be that the stats are only accumulated based on the tier and tee boxes that you are intended to play.

  I would exclude the following courses:

  1. best of the par 5's
  2. par 3 courses

  These courses will definitely mislead your stats'.
