I have to agree with you. Just played a game, had a 21mph tailwind, using a Callaway i(z) distance ball, had 58 to pin, hit 53 using 77yd wedge, ball went 50yds! I know yo uhave to give a little more when not hitting a full shot, but with that tail wind AND the Callaway distance ball, I would have expected it to go at least 53yds... and then maybe a little more with roll.
And this is not the only instance. But maybe there is sense behind the madness from WGT. The frustration will lead to more inconsistency, more badly hit shots, and consequently more balls bought. It could also be an attempt to beat the sandbaggers as they won't be able to have any consistency either. Then again I may be totally wrong and it's just bad programming.
