To be honest Paul, I expect nothing from Chad, or the company. Well, not quite true........I do expect the WGT shroud of silence to continue.

To be honest, I am not quite sure why they are so secretive, we have never really asked for proprietary property to be released...just a general what is planned for the upcoming year.

Maybe WGT will surprise us by unveiling the new real WGT, and Clashes, Banks etc was just to steer the opposition into oblivion.....cunning plan maybe......tin foil hats you mentions....how much were they going for did you say?

As I said, the "ideas division" is so devoid of ideas it is pointless in having any hope unless managerial changes were made.

To quote someone in the forums "This is WGT - hope is futile" :)

You leave me speechless - true last words!

    Edit:

It's "They are WGT, hope is futile!" BTW.

You know when I started this thread , had no idea it would lead up to all this. Just a response from WGT would ended this at the second or third post.

Where is icon haven't heard from him in a while, is just sad. You think we are a division of NASA the way everything is so hush hush where you need a security clearance to know anything.

Anyway did not intend to start anything

Plus, I thought the CC that won that prize was designing a BO course not just with par 3s? We already have one of those.

I think, as Adaputter says, the top three in the Clash each choose the holes on one of the new BO3,4 and 5 courses.  It may be that these are to replace the best of... we already have and are not to use any holes from Cabo or Whistler.

I'll prove it to you soon enough Yankee!  You'll see it's me!

    LOL. Oooookay, your move.  ;-)

@DP-Thanks for that, that's probably what got misinterpreted as those 2 courses disappearing.

I see transition in what is an uncertain time...obvious maybe:)

Flash is fading, and so the PC version gets enough lip service as the mobile is not ready in a proper way.  Not ready WGT side and most homes are still PC orientated.  Yes everyone has a phone mostly, but not with a mouse and a big screen hooked up.  Personally I don't ever envisage taking a gold sim seriously for more than 5 minutes on just my phone.  Others may think different but I am not seeing a stampede.

Clearly the company is pushing the mobile for all it's worth, and hoping.

What I perceive, and of course the usual silence is as real as ever.  Maybe if you stick your head in the sand long enough the lack of light and sound becomes a kodak moment.  Younger readers will need to google that and what happened to them:)

Here's what we know will happen in 2016:

Shoe and Icon will still be trying to see who wins the battle of the pink TuTu's

If Pebble back 9 is not release, everyone in this thread will still play this game.

PaulTon will still sport fishnet stockings up town.

BiB will make a comeback for the VUSO.

    I'll still be broke.

The Yankees will not make the playoffs.

The Giants will win the series.

After almost 7 years here in WGT land I want no more than what the game has gave me .

    The Free play ,

The Friends , The good times in the forums .

The chance to see this game grow ,

The times that we have seen the passing of a Special member .

My Father told me when I was young ,

Enjoy the game with friend,s .

When  Friends play we all Win .

Well, forgive me if I don't do a cartwheel of joy. WGT's record in the department of cunning planning is about impressive as Stumpy Oleg McNoLeg's personal best in the Market Harbor marathon!

Most of the brilliant innovations have been about as useful as a fridge full of hammers!

However the underlying game itself is still the best virtual golf experience around.
