    K7JBQ:

On level up, I often rent, play a couple of rounds, then decide.

This is a very good point, one I'm not sure everyone knows about.

When you level up and new clubs become available you get a couple of hours free rental.  You have to use it straight away, there's a pop up on screen to tell you what you can now rent for free.

The great thing is you still get the discount if you buy the clubs during this free rental period.

It's a two hours rental of one(!) newly available club.

Once you accept, you can hardly escape the "buy me" pleas which pop up all the time for 24 hours after rental starts. As always, the favourable (*) button is highlighted in green, and no confirmation before purchase.

CS is said to react customer-friendly but how many would accept the unintentional purchase?

    pling-pling...

    (*) favourable for the company

I can confirm that CS does respond very well to accidental purchases.  I've only had to use it once but it was swift and problem free.

Anyone who accidentally buys something and doesn't then contact CS is just (insert word of choice).

Please excuse me for cutting it off:

Why should anybody be bothered to be brought into such situation against his will and have to struggle to return to his prevoius, desired state?

It's like the story of the old lady who gets a hand by an eager boy scout ("do a good deed every day"). He helps her over the street, struggling with her being unhandy and muttering "no, no, no". Then, on the opposite side, she eventually says, "I didn't want to cross the street!"

Why no confirmation screen for a significant purchase?

Perhaps if the batty old fart had smacked the cheeky little ruffian with her handbag the whole situation could have been avoided.

I'm not defending the system, I know it's not right that there's no confirm purchase screen.  That's what got me with a sleeve of Max balls I used to use for CTTH, I wanted to click the x to close the reminder and accidentally clicked buy sleeve.  There was no pop up to confirm, the balls were simply added to my inventory and my credit balance reduced.  Not a good thing.

My point is, CS removed the balls and restored my credits within an hour.  If I'd not bothered to mail them I could have bitched about it for months here.  Some would consider that a golden opportunity gone to waste.
