Hey Warren, the edit profile button is in the lower right corner near the top of your profile.

Ron,  "...lower right corner near the top of your profile".  I am looking at my profile page, and I don't see any edit profile button.

To stop the emails you have to unclick the box that is in the reply section at bottom left. Hope this helps.

Don't see any reply section anywhere on my profile page.

YJ,  That refers to "Email me replies to this post", doesn't say anything about threads. Does this mean I have to reply to every post in every thread in order to turn this thing off?  And, where's the "edit my profile' option?

    NO.

You will only get emails fo forum posts if you HAVE replied to someone and didnt uncheck the option box.

From now on when you reply, be sure the box is unchecked.

Unless, your CC owner is hammering out new threads all the time??

    go here

    http://www.wgt.com/forums/MyForums.aspx

these are all the threads you have replied to.

Go to each one of those posts that YOU made and select EDIT, then DE-Select the 'email me replies' option

This is as good as it gets
    https://www.wgt.com/user/myaccount.aspx
In that section edit email option here:

    https://www.wgt.com/user/contactinfo.aspx

You could put in a dodgy email address and NEVER receive an email again.

Just dont forget your password :)

or as someone else suggested, filter your WGT emails into their own inbox folder.

    Thats what I do also.

The link above is actually where you wind up when you click the ACCOUNT button under your name.

find the thread, go to thread, open your OP or answers to said thread, edit, scroll down (see YJs post) and if that box is checked uncheque (for you british) said box voila, no more responses.

and now you know the rest of the story

When you first login, click the 'Account' button (between My Messages and Log Out).

Then click on 'Contact Info" where you'll see two boxes under your email address.

One says "Receive WGT updates and news" the other says "Receive special offers from WGT partners".

Make sure both are UNchecked and then click 'Update' at the bottom of the page.

Hopefully that will help cut down on the email you receive.

There seems to be no way to stop all emails from WGT, why not?

I solved the problem by reporting them as spam.

I haven't received a tournament notification, or promotional e-mail from WGT in months. I sent an e-mail to WGTadmin about it and they said they had reset my e-mail address and that their server showed I should have received four e-mails in a three day period. This was ten days ago, and I have yet to see an e-mail from WGT. I didn't see anything in my spam box either.
