current clash

  Why anyone buys passes to play in these is beyond me.  The same CC is going to win this one too,  with a 20K+ lead over 2nd place LOL.   

   

  I can see if you just want to play for the heck of it, but only use the free pass you get every 4 hours and don't go wasting hits on a good ball.  

   

  WGT is assumingly making a good return on these clashes, so I can see why they keep them coming.  More frequently now it appears,  this one was in the middle of the week instead of the weekend where more players are able to play.  

  Just wish they'd take some of the return and put it toward a few more yellow golf balls.  ;-)

  I agree H, after the lame downtime for Dec. with no new equip. I was looking forward to maybe Jan downtime to bring something new, but here we are in the 3rd week of Jan and nothing yet.

  Just noticed one guy in my club had played in a Clash round.  No biggie, free pass I'm sure. 

  Funny part is,   we are in 1,191th place with 259 points  LMAO.   So,  at least 1191 CC's have participated in this thing they call the Clash.   

   

  Things would change quickly if only the free ball and free passes where being used.  It's a shame really,  I think the scoring is a fun change.  I'm going to use my free pass and a ball I don't plan on restocking just to play in one for the scoring part.  Bored at work so may as well play one to pass the time LOL.

  745th now with 1030 points.

  I have to admit I do like the scoring and the countdown clock when ur playing.

  I had 2 minutes left on my game and I froze, had to X-out reload and get back playing the last hole.

  finished with seconds to spare.

  LOL,  I had a 7 footer on the 9th hole with starter ball and it dropped right at 19 seconds left on the timer.

  That is exactly the point I was making in a different thread to someone who said clashes will soon become a thing of the past....for all the complaining about them, many CC's obviously still participate, and this translates to huge $$$ for WGT...Clashes aren't going anywhere soon.

  Probably will not see much from April - September, but for all the naysayers it's getting more competitive. Majestic would probably have won clash 15 with what's points they got in clash 16 . More players are playing. More CC's are scoring more points. It's here to stay

  Nope. Georgian won #15 with 80,563 and Majestic scored 65,823 in #16 approx. 15K short.
