Which kind of competition are you talking about? A private CC vs. CC?
Anyway, the only MP which you can continue alone is strokeplay. AFAIK, each contestant may finish on his own after a discon but there's no more supervision on such a round. You'd have to negotiate this with your CCs' tournament board.
