I have a question in regards to levels.

How does someone a - Master tier- get to - Level 101

XP's have nothing to do with Tiers. If a player plays only CTTH, Blitz , Skins, MP or AS they would never post  a score so their average would never change. If your average doesnt go down you can't tier up. The player could also just shoot high scores and never tier up.

Could be a sandbagger or simply a player who is really bad at the game

    +1

Same with exclusively practice rounds or with high scores due to low level equipment.

I have stated in other threads that I only play Alternate and some MP. I play solely for the social side of the game...meeting people or playing with friends, etc. I am a level 105 legend with a 68.72 average...a "hack legend" if you wish.  Although I am sometimes teased by more competitive players who want to make Champion by level 100, I don't let it bother me. I have also been accused of sand bagging,? but if there is nothing on the line, I'm not sure why anyone (at any tier) would sand bag or cheat...

After playing well over 6000 games of Alternate, my record is about 50-50...so the bell curve is alive and well.

...sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.  Unless the person insists on playing for money or credits, I generally ignore the numbers.

The sh*t people do in this game,,,,,, it is laughable.

I find it a little weird in regards to people who cheat in this game. WHY! ? FOR WHAT! ?

Its just out and out freaking weird - sandbagging, multi accounts, exchanging pw's so the better player helps the other qualify for a tournament (not sure if WGT has finally buckled down on that or not) posting on a players wall when in actuality that player is YOU,,,WTF! LOL! ,,,and whatever the F' else goes on in peoples heads.

Isn't it F*-ked up when you have that much time on your hands so to do ^^^^ this kind of sh*t.

jeepie provided a possible explanation, and I proposed a different explanation. Do you have proof this guy is a cheat?...if you don't, why did you focus solely on the more sinister possibility?...I'm not saying people don't cheat, but if there is nothing on the line, it's unlikely...maybe he just plays a lot of games that don't impact average, like I do...and many others do.

Gamer does not equal Sportsman and Greed comes in all forms. Beware of Sharks in  infested waters.

It could be a secondary account for another player. Get the xps up and do surveys and videos and you have yourself a cash cow.

Do not forget about people who may have a disability and it simply doesn't allow them to play well. They might just like the game and is a good time waster.

I do not call anyone a cheater without proof and unless they state they are cheating then there is no way to prove it. The only people who can prove it is WGT who can monitor these accounts and see if they are gifting or playing for credits.

I simply am giving scenarios and not judging either way

My reply is a "generalization" of people. Nothing more nothing less.
