Had my match with Mick, and I win 5 UP.

Mick came across some bad luck, especially on the first, with an overpowered short putt. CB will punish you for errant shots, and Mick found the beach on a few occasions. Mick made some great putts, to keep it interesting.

A pitch-in eagle for me on 8, gave me some confidence for the back 9. I played it safe and short on 12, and Mick tried the bounce off the mounds, which didn't come off. I was able to birdie, and that pretty much decided the match.

A great competitor, he is, and I look forward to having some matches with him.

Thank You SEL, and my mates at WTCC, for putting this great competition on!

A big thank you to all who represented their respective clubs so honorably. A very evenly matched  game, that went down to the wire, it could have gone either way. Hopefully new friendships have been made and rivalries formed.

    All the best everyone.

Couldn't agree more with the comments made here, it's been a fine battle played in the true spirit of the game. I've really enjoyed this one and met some great people along the way, thanks to all involved and well done Wooden Tee on your win

By our forum today it seems last match was played last night and it's a win for wooden tees. Only 5 points in it going to last 2 games and we knew our lads faced a stiff task but it was great we took it to the wire.

Victory to the tees 31 20

Been a pleasure to play you folk and especially to chat away with you on the twitch games.

Hell we even had visitors from other clubs watching

Hats off to you. We are a good inter cc club but you lot have set the benchmark

This has been one of the easiest friendlies Ive had the privilege of organizing.  Thank you to Dazza and all the participants for arranging your games.

The matches were all played in a great spirit. I only got positive feedback from my players.

Congratulations to Wooden Tee for winning the Friendly Fixture 31-20. We havent been beaten for some time, you are  very formidable opponents.

As the cliche goes, it back to the drawing board for us, alot of practice and hopefully a opportunity to redeem ourselves in the near future.

    Thank you all

LOL, no drawing board Captain Nemo Nico.

We have won a lot of games against some great friendly clubs, just these are probably the best inter cc team going , alright PaulT i know you reading this, so top 3 then ;-). So no harm at all in defeat that went to the wire.

As we know, some top clubs play inter cc matches where as some concentrate on clashes.

We know where we stand on that ;-)

Thanks very much to Nico and all the team at Southern England Links. This has been a great match enjoyed by all and played in the great spirit these matches should be. I think this is probably the 1st time we've been involved in a match where every game was finished.

We look forward to going up against you again in the upcoming Mini World Cup
