May as well, 14 million is creative accounting anyway......

The key stat is regular users, not the 13 million you signed up and left.

Congrats on your merger. I understand that the focus shift is to mobile ( where the $ are) but,  as one of your PC patrons, can we expect some of these added resources to be applied to fixing the disconnection issues that have plagued multi player games for what seems an eternity ?

    Doc :)

We are not abandoning the Web version.  We will continue to work on all platforms of the game.

Do you guys know how many WGT members regularly play the game...the desktop version...and the mobile app version?  I don't see a lot of mobile icons for my friends on a daily basis although they play the mobile version.

There is no doubt that the game plays truer on the desktop.  Hopefully this platofrm doesn't fade away.

From what I grasped in the webcast (not much), it looked like Topgolf were more interested in how the WGT 'game engine' could be utilised at their golf ranges, saying the two 'technologies' were already 80% compatible.           <wry smile>

Other than us maybe getting a virtual driving range (which possibly will be android/apple only?) this may have very little effect on what we see in here at all.

Being part of a larger golf company  could mean more resources for the game and(keeping the PGA and US Open tie ins) will possibly give WGT more clout when  they negotiate  with golf clubs (Augusta-yes please) they want to add to the game.

I'm just guessin' though, who knows? We all wish them well in this venture I'm sure.

Sometimes I'm an optimist, so I hope for improvement and progress in the game we all play.

I'm also a realist and cynic at times, so I hope that the browser game at least still exists this time next year.

How about a free sleeve of Topgolf logo balls* for all your players, as a show of good faith?

    * with the specs of a decent ball, level 33 cally standard would be acceptable.  ;)

    Live long and prosper.

or the xxxx players that started over 10 times to get a free ball.

would like to know the stats on players that have signed on at least 6 times a month and play more than 1 round.

Yes,,,it's a curious thing. While there may be millions(?) of accounts on here, how many are active?...how many are multi accounts?...what is the actual number of golfers who participate and play and purchase products, etc...for sure it's a hell of a lot lower than what is advertised, but no audit has ever been done to my knowledge.

It's surprising to me how many times I search random players for a game of Alt...and the same people keep showing up. There are 1000+ CCs, but many have fewer than 10 people and many of the larger ones just haven't cleared their dead accounts...so the numbers are artificially inflated.

I would bet out of the millions advertised, there are probably less than 25,000 active players. By active, I mean single account holders, active in a CC (or even if not in a CC), play fairly regularly and obtain kit from the pro shop. Even just look at this forum, open to all wgt players for comment or observation...and maybe 100-200 people out of 21 million actually post anything?...just doesn't add up

Unfortunately I do not know what the PC and Mobile numbers are. I do know that we have no plans to discontinue support for any version of the game.

im pretty sure Chad said in the press conference they make most of their money from the pro shop with us buying things, can we get some new clubs to buy, im in the mood to give all clubs in my bag an overhaul, Ive got money waiting to be spent, its yours if you want it WGT.

Legend level clubs: 242 med Trajectory 3w, 232 med Trajectory 3w (that what i use as a 5w,  225-120 irons (doesnt matter about spin rating), 85yd and 65yd wedges (again doesnt matter about spin rating) all with 3.5 meter, if it has a 3.5 meter im sure to buy it

a new mallet legend putter would be great too, i probably would buy a new driver too if you released one.

release some new clubs and you'll make a few easy bucks, its 2016, we need some variety in the pro shop
